Hemmerle

125th Anniversary Dinner

To celebrate their 125th anniversary, Munich-based luxury jeweler Hemmerle treated their most faithful clientele to a multi-sensory dinner as refined and extraordinary as their beloved jewels. The evening at the Metropolitan Museum of Art not only honored over a century of exquisite craftsmanship, but also debuted their Egyptian-inspired anniversary collection.

Chosen for its conceptual connection to the collection, the Museum’s Temple of Dendur came alive with an ever-changing kaleidoscope of custom-created video, blanketing the gallery walls with poetic images of the new collection that dissolved into a lyrical, visual history of Hemmerle’s artistic triumphs. At each place setting, a hand-folded, paper pyramid housed a commemorative surprise looking to an innovative future: A Hemmerle-made, brass, fly pendant, the symbol of achievement. It was a luscious evening, one which exuded the warmth only generated amongst a gathering of the closest of family and friends. Mission accomplished.
