In lieu of a traditional (and expected) headline entertainer, an open stage set with a variety of instruments created an irresistible invitation for guests to participate in the evening’s impromptu (and it its own right historic!) jam session, as the likes of Prince, Jimmy Fallon, Taylor Swift, Paul McCartney and Bill Murray all took to the stage to share their varied musical talents together in what was arguably the best SNL musical “guest” performance ever!

40th Anniversary Afterparty
For SNL’s now legendary 40th Anniversary party, we transformed the iconic Plaza Hotel into a glamorous gathering spot to create a chic, celebratory lounge for the A-list crowd of nearly 1,000 cast members, producers, celebs and friends of the show to toast the wrap of the 40th anniversary episode. In this party where every attendee was a VIP, we created a series of plush, luxurious seating vignettes for guests to comfortably relax and reminisce throughout the party that felt at once both intimate and grand — much like New York City itself, which served as the creative muse for both the party décor and the show itself.
